Hello!

My name is Diego. I have been a professional guitar tutor for over fifteen years, teaching all ages, levels and styles. I have a passion for sharing knowledge and helping others to fulfil their potential on their instrument.

 

I live and work in Manchester UK and also teach online to people within the country and anywhere in the world.

​

For many years I have also played and recorded with numerous acts in styles from jazz to rock, classical, pop and latin, performing all over the UK and internationally. I also teach guitar to music degree students at university and I am an author of instructional books for the guitar. 

​

For those who are or become interested, I  prepare students for grade examinations (one to eight) in various guitar styles including: classical, acoustic, electric and rockschool. To date I have a 100% pass rate. Nonetheless, I do not require that my students undertake grade examinations as a compulsory part of their lessons. It is completely optional.

 

I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors at the London College of Music.
